Gain Access to MetLife Patients

Dental Health Alliance®, L.L.C. (DHA) is excited to share that we have entered an arrangement with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (MetLife) that may increase your potential patient base.

  • Effective October 18, 2025, members whose PPO dental coverage is insured or administered by MetLife will have in-network access to the DHA network in all states except CA, IL, NC, NJ, VA and WA, as provided in your agreement with DHA1.
  • In-network access for CA, IL, and VA will begin on November 17, 2025.
  • NC, NJ, and WA - Providers will be notified of the effective date upon state approval.

How to participate

  • No action is needed to participate, and you may opt out of this arrangement at any time.

Which network fees will apply?

Your DHA fee schedule will apply when you provide covered services to MetLife dental PPO members; however, if you are also an in-network provider for another network accessed by MetLife, a different fee schedule may apply. If you have questions regarding your participation status or reimbursement rates, please contact MetLife at 800-942-0854 on or after October 13, 2025.

Which products does this apply to?

It applies to commercial PPO dental plans. We will notify you if additional MetLife products are added.

How does this arrangement apply to orthodontia?

DHA orthodontists will not be considered in-network providers for MetLife under this arrangement. Orthodontic claims for all providers will not be considered in-network claims under this arrangement.
